This is a quaint B&B located a 10 minute walk from Colonial Williamsburg. It has charm and you feel you are "back in the day". We like that the polar was open to us to grab a snack, tea/coffee and water at our convenience. Check in was a breeze and the inn keeper Mary Susan, Leroy the cook and Alex the owner were super accommodating, easy to talk to and very accessible if necessary. The homemade breakfasts each day were yummy and if you need a special accommodation (vegan, gluten free etc.) they were happy to oblige. We thoroughly enjoyed Alex's stories each morning of the area and his friendly demeanor. He is funny and charismatic. He makes you feel right at home.

At soon we arrived at this beautiful old house, Alex opens the door, and everything was pleasant, very friendly, relax. and honest greeting. We want to smell history at Williamsburg, and this place was the perfect place. He is a great host and he not only know his business, but he also really enjoys it doing. He has a very modest and humble personality and that is a plus for everything. Great breakfast, on time and relax. A quiet place at night, when you had a very busy and long day visiting the Colonial Williamsburgh. Yes, we recommend this place.

Cedars is in the perfect location for exploring Colonial Williamsburg, being only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the historc area and the restaurants and shops. It's an old property and full of character, which we loved. The breakfasts were delicious and filling - Alex prepared a different, fresh offering every day of our stay. If you're fortunate you'll get to sample his freshly baked spinach quiche. Our breakfast conversations with Alex were very enjoyable and a great way to get to know other guests.

What did we like? Everything. My husband and I have been to Colonial Williamsburg on a few occasions, staying in historical buildings, hotels, inns. Cedars is now our favorite because of its features; charming building with historical touches, friendly and knowledgeable host, and a very good breakfast. All of this - great location, well-appointed room, comfortable bed, strong wifi, soaring fireplace (we were there in January) -- for one of the best prices in the area. We will be back

The B&B is charming, and the owner and staff are lovely. I was so impressed that the owner really made it a priority to individually connect with each guest, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. They were also very accommodating to my various food allergies, and the breakfasts were filling, delicious, and beautiful! The location is also great, right across the street from William & Mary, so it's easy to walk to Merchants' Square and Colonial Williamsburg.
